Have you ever lost something and searched for a good while to no avail? Then have you ever felt a prompting to say a prayer for help to find what you lost, and moments after your amen you find that which was lost or are prompted to go search in a certain location? Have you ever been on your way to a destination, slightly unawares of bus schedules and how you will get there in time? Then have you ever felt a prompting or had a thought to run a little faster because if not you might miss the bus? Then have you ever had one crossing light turn on for you, then a second, then a third which all work together to help you make it to the bus in full sprint just as it arrives?

These are a few examples of how my life has been blessed recently by promptings from the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost was sent by our Savior to help us in all things. He can confirm to us when we are making right choices and can warn us of danger, and as we learn to live in such a way that He can stay near us, then we will be able to have peace in all that we do.

Recently a prophet of God, President Russel M. Nelson invited us to make a priority of learning to recognize how the Holy Ghost speaks to us and following His guidance. One thing that can help us is to think celestial! Here are some of my other favorite quotes that he shared:

1. An understanding of God’s fabulous plan takes the mystery out of life and the uncertainty out of our future.
2. Here is the great news of God’s plan: the very things that will make your mortal life the best it can be are exactly the same things that will make your life throughout all eternity the best it can be!
3. Obedience paves the way for a joyful life for you today and a grand, eternal reward tomorrow.

As we seek for the guidance of the Holy Ghost and strive to think celestial, we will experience joy which comes from our Savior Jesus Christ!
