Today I had the opportunity to fast together with my congregation and enjoy some soup. It was great because we cooked together and enjoyed each other’s company. One of the things that was shared in church was that there is strength that comes from gathering together and uniting our efforts to come unto Christ. I felt strengthened and comforted when a young man shared that although we have different challenges and burdens that may seem beyond what we can carry, we can always find peace and comfort when we turn to our Savior Jesus Christ. I believe this is true and I feel grateful that we can turn to Him and be strengthened.
