This morning I had the opportunity to study in the Book of Helaman, and I enjoyed learning about the experiences that Nephi and his brother Lehi had as they taught the Lamanites about Jesus Christ and the miracles that happened along the way. One of the truths that is shared in these chapters is that the Lord has power to heal us and forgive us as we repent and come unto Him. Just like the Lamanites, we may find ourselves surrounded by clouds of darkness, or like the Nephites we might turn away from the Lord and forget what He has done for us, but if we will repent and exercise faith in Jesus Christ, He will give us peace and fill us with His light and joy!
