Today I had the great opportunity to go to the temple with my friend Isaak! While we were there, I felt a lot of peace and I also had the opportunity to read this scripture:

While I read these verses, I was reminded about how we are free to choose to follow God and that God has power over all things. The enemy of our souls does not have power anywhere near our Heavenly Father’s, but he can distract us and persuade us to choose evil. The real deciding power lies with us, and we can choose to ask for and receive help from our Heavenly Father to choose the good, but that also has to be our choice. We can choose to serve and love God, and by doing so we will be filled with His light and there will be no room for darkness in us. I am grateful for our Savior and for the ability to become clean and filled with light through His atonement!
