Today I had the choice opportunity to visit one of my friends named Thomas. He is an older gentleman and is having some health challenges, but even with his health problems his faith in Jesus Christ remains strong. I went to his house, and we talked for a few hours about life, and he shared his story about he came to know God was real and he testified of the love our Heavenly Father has for us. Whether God has forgiven Him or not for the mistakes of his past, he told me he was going to do his best to follow Him and strive to do what he could with the time the Lord gives him on this earth. I do not know how long the Lord will give him or even give me for that matter, but I am grateful for the witness I felt from the Holy Ghost of the truthfulness of his words. We can trust in Christ and His hands of mercy are truly outstretched to all who are willing to repent and come unto Him! I have hope in my Savior and I am grateful for my family that helps me to be better and follow Him!
