Today was an exciting day in Gonzales! I celebrated my cousin Kelly’s graduation and got to help my family out during the day. In the morning I drove with a friend of mine and we were hauling wood for a project from a neighboring city. On the way back into town, the wood slipped off of the truck we were using and fell into the road. After some effort we got the wood loaded back up, and before we got on the road again I asked my friend if we should offer a prayer before heading out again. He replied asking what difference it would make and proceeded to drive. Prayer does make a difference and our Heavenly Father is ready to help us when we turn to Him in prayer! He is always watching over over us and we can find strength in Him!
